Brethren,
The past 12 months has been a great journey for me as your Worshipful Master. I have enjoyed every single aspect of being in the East. There has not been one event or instance where I regret it. This has truly been an emotional journey as the only thing that could have made my year that much better, would have been to have my grandfather next to me in the East. I want to thank all of my officers this year for giving me everything they have as far as degree work and effort for this term. Their willingness to help out whenever needed was a great encouragement and made my job that much easier. I congratulate Bro. Joe Dotson as being elected for this coming term, and am excited, just as he is, to see what this year brings for our Lodge.
Our installation this year will be on November 19th at 7:30 pm. Officers will need to be there at 6:45 pm to go over last minute details. We also have the Past Masters Convocation that day in the morning. To my knowledge it will begin at 8:00 am. The Past Master Convocation is a great place for all of the officers to go through some workshops to help prepare them for their year as master. I strongly encourage the officers to attend if at all possible.
Again, I thank everyone for their help, encouragement, and prayers this year; they did not go unnoticed!
